Following a donation of €100,000 to the National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases and €20,000 to the Clinical Center, Podgoricka banka and Crnogorska komercijalna banka (CKB) provided 260 aid packages to the oldest clients with the lowest income.
Bearing in mind that the oldest clients - retirees are often not able to go shopping on their own, and that due to mobility restrictions their family members also find it difficult to supply their elderly, the banks decided to prepare adequate aid packages and deliver them to the clients at home addresses.
Aid packages in the total amount of €6,500 contain the most necessary foodstuffs: flour, oil, sugar, milk, rice, pasta, etc., as well as hygiene products.
The packages will be distributed in the coming days by Red Cross volunteers in order to comply with all the recommendations of the National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases.
