Instructions for creating an ePIN

ePIN

ePIN is a code that provides additional security for your online transactions. They are now protected by double authentication, which means that in addition to the SMS code, you must also enter the ePIN.

Just as the PIN protects you when paying at a POS terminal and ATM, the ePIN provides you with security when paying online.

If you do not have a temporary code to create an ePIN, please call the Contact Center (19900) or create an ePIN via SMS as described below.

4. How can I secure my ePIN?

You can best protect your ePIN by not sharing it with others and not writing it down in easily accessible places.

5. Can I use the same ePIN for multiple accounts?

For security reasons, we recommend that you use a unique ePIN for each card. This further increases the security of your transactions.

You can also create an ePIN via SMS in just a few steps:

Step 1 - Send a message with the following content to 1456

eLOZ (space) password – The password can be a combination of letters and numbers, between 5 and 10 characters (in our example, the password is CKB123)

Example: eLOZ CKB123

After successfully sending the message, you will receive a confirmation SMS that the password has been successfully registered and is valid for the next 10 minutes.

Step 2 - After successful registration, you need to send an SMS with the following content to the number 1456:

ePIN (space) the last 4 numbers of your card (space) eLOZ (created in the previous step, in our example CKB123) (space) ePIN (your future secret password to confirm internet payment which must contain 4 numbers)

Example: ePIN 1234 CKB123 2244

After successfully sending the message, you will receive a confirmation SMS that the ePIN has been created (in our example, the ePIN is 2244).
