Ukrainian nationals with the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) who decide to open a transaction account for national payment transactions in CKB from April 1 to September 1 are going to be exempted from paying fees for account maintenance and SMS service for a period of six months.
Along with the opening of transaction account for national payment transactions, Ukraine nationals will be entitled to a free of charge transaction account for international payment transactions and two debit cards (Visa and MasterCard).
"CKB joined the initiatives that were taken in the previous period in order to provide much-needed support to Ukraine and its citizens. Now, we want to additionally support Ukrainian nationals who are currently in Montenegro. These benefits will enable them to organise and make their daily activities simpler and easier in the new circumstances ", said Nemanja Z. Boljević, CKB spokeperson.
They will be able to open a transaction account in one of the 34 branches of CKB throughout Montenegro on the basis of a valid Ukrainian passport and a document proving the temporary protected status (a confirmation of application for document issuance is also accepted).

This support is of great importance for our fellow citizens, especially now when they have to continue living in a new environment far from their homeland ",said Natalya Fiyalka, Chargé d' Affaires of the Embassy of Ukraine in Montenegro.
