This donation was handed over by Stela Bošković, Director of Corporate Secretariat Department of CKB to Dr Muhedin Kadić, Head of Operating Block of the Institute for Children's Diseases.
"There is nothing more important than health, particularly the health of the youngest members of our community. We see the opportunity to improve the working conditions of the devoted medical doctors and medical staff of the Institute of Children's Diseases as a privilege. In the time ahead, CKB will continue to be a reliable partner of the Institute for Children's Diseases in this noble mission", said Stela Bošković, Director of Corporate Secretariat Department.
Speaking about the donation of surgical instruments, Dr Muhedin Kadić has emphasized that it is a significant addition to their surgical sets, which will enable the medical doctors of the Children's Surgical Clinic and the entire Institute for Children's Diseases to provide our children with the best treatment and the shortest recovery time.
"On behalf of the employees of the Children's Surgical Clinic, as well as on my own behalf, I would like to take this opportunity to thank CKB for their generous donation and dedication to the Institute for Children's Diseases. This donation consists of a set of 11 surgical instruments used in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery procedures. As you may know, laparoscopic surgery is constantly advancing, and new surgical instruments and approaches enable more diversified procedures. Yet it is of the utmost importance that it now enables a better care and shortened treatment period for our little heroes", said Dr Kadić, Head of Operating Block of the Institute for Children's Diseases.
