CKB agro loans for registered agricultural households

Podgorica, 9th March 2021 – In cooperation with European Investment Fund (EIF), CKB presented new credit line for support to agricultural business in Montenegro, intended to small manufacturers, i.e., registered agricultural households.

„Having in mind the situation with coronavirus pandemic worldwide, and in Montenegro, the need for production is more and more expressed, and for this reason we enabled funds for financing agricultural business within EU micro credit line: CKB EU micro loans for current assets and CKB EU micro investment loan. The loans are approved in amount of 500 EUR up to 20.000 EUR, with repayment period up to 36 months, i.e., up to 60 months. The main advantage is securing the loan without mortgage by simple applying procedure”, declared Sandra Kordić, Executive Director for Retail and Corporate Business Division.

The loans may be used to finance current assets as purchase of stocks, raw materials and the like, but also to finance investments into tangible assets, and various types of intangible investments. The main condition for loan approval is to have registered household in Montenegro (Decision on agricultural households of Ministry of Agriculture), as well as the active account with any bank for at least 6 months.
